We have been using airport based CB Rentals 3-4 times a year for at least the last 5 years. We have never had any problems and their service is friendly and the prices are very good. There is no need to use one of the main brands, all of which I had had problem with when returning the car.

I rented a car from AddCar Malta, the car belonged to CB Rentals. The car Citroen Berlingo was issued in poor technical condition. The front tires were old, worn and damaged. Their inner edge was frayed. The tire burst and caused a large hole. The rental company charged 95 EUR for a damaged tire. I believe that it is a Scam, because the tires were already thrown out before the rental and dangerous for traffic.

Just enjoyed reliability from the ever first moment. The chat feature on the official website offered a good chance to get further information about the rental. The car was brought to our hotel in Sliema and we dropped the car at the carpark at the airport. Everything was fine!

Highly recommended. Renting a car in Malta requires quite high deposits (compared to other countries), and the Internet is full of opinions about car rental companies that create issues with the return of the deposit. That's why we were looking for a rental company recommended by someone trusted and how we came across this one.

Company is quite small and has no permanent office at the airport (they use a shared office), but their representative, Randolph, met us there to complete all the formalities. When returning, it is enough to park the car in a designated place and put the keys in a locker.
We picked up clean and fully tanked with all the necessary equipment and detailed information what to do in case of some problems. Car itself was reliable, still quite new, very economical.

The deposit is returned only after one month (in case of parking/speeding fines), it was released exactly 30 days from the date of picking up the car. We paid 132€ for a medium size car rental for 7 days (Citroën Cactus or similar, fee with a reduction in the deposit to 250€).

Company can be contacted by e-mail, phone or Whatsapp, the staff patiently answered all my questions. Randolph was really great and super friendly, not only he explained us the parking and fuel prices rules, but also gave great advice where and what to eat to have a great culinary experience!

Good car rent company with fast response. Got the car with only 350eurs deposit (others asked from 800-2000 eurs) When i rented the car they said that deposit i will get back after one month but got it back after one week. So will definetly use again. Thanks.

Дуже хороша компанія. Рудольф зустрів в аеропорті о 5 ранку. Передав автомобіль і при вильоті ми просто кинули ключи в спеціальну комірку. Автомобіль був новий ще мав запах як з автосалону пробіг був всього 1200 км. Ще раз хочу порадити CB Rental за прекрасний сервіс і автомобіль. Заблоковані кошти стали доступні через 6 днів. При оренді брав максимальне страхове покриття. Все бронювання і спілкування робив через їхній сайт.
Very good company. Rudolf met at the airport at 5am. Passed the car and when leaving, we simply threw the keys into a special cell. The car was new yet smelled as from a car deal mileage was only 1200 km. Once again I want to advise CB Rental for the excellent service and car. Blocked funds become available in 6 days. When renting, he took the maximum insurance coverage. All booking and communication was made through their site.

I rented a Kymko 125, the scooter was good (tyre, brakes), but the speedometer didn’t work, so I didn’t know what was the exact speed at the moment.
I would improve the drop off moment. I don’t like to put the keys in a box, I want that a member staff tell me that it is all ok, and my security deposit will be free for me. Sign a paper where I can see: no damage on this scooter / car.

Someone drove in to me. Although it wasn't my fault the deposit had to be payed. They promised me they would pay it back as soon as the case was sattled with the insurance. Since October 2023 I have never seen any money. I also don't get any information about the case. They are trying to make me beleave they are still fight with the insurance. The case was clear and the oponant comitted beeing wrong. He signed the front to rear from.
