This is a true family run business, where the staff and clients are all part of the extended family. The care for the horses is top notch and the horses love it there - healthy and shiny. The staff are very responsive to directions for caring for an injured horse, or when told of a possible hazard like a broken fence board. They take off blankets when its hot and put them on when it is cold - you don't have to worry about it. They notice when there is an injury and notify the owner promptly. The feed is the best quality, and the skinny horses get into good shape quickly. The vet and farrier and trainers all work together to get sound and healthy horses. Ill-suited horses don't stay long and the head trainer and owner has a great eye for finding appropriate horses in the rider's budget. You're not paying for fancy frills but you get a great amount of value for your money in terms of horse care, facilities, and teaching. If you are into drama this is not the place for you - the boarders and families are supportive of each other and no one will tolerate a drama llama. Great place for young kids, and if you're looking to start riding they have a second facility, Cavallo Riding Center around the corner (a bit farther actually but not much) for those that don't own or lease a horse or pony of their own.

I am so impressed by the professionalism and consistency of the Cavallo Farm training program. Michael Bertozzi and Katie Hess are a joy to work with and are exceptional with the care they give to the horses and riders. The facility is pristine and has a warm inclusive feeling. I highly recommend.

Cavallo is definitely a barn to start out in the beginning with. They're competitive enough and offer a good challenge. If your advanced and looking for big jumps and doing shows- This is your barn. They teach kids and adults young and old and I am always impressed at the level of riding they offer here. Horses are all happy, taken care of, and are all very nice and athletic. There's a good friendly atmosphere. And compared to the other barns in the are, I will say this is the best. During lessons you are riding the entire time without waiting in line. Certainly my favorite!

Kids had a fantastic summer camp experience here. Staff are responsive, kind, and look like they are enjoying their job.
We switched to another farm nearby briefly due to cheaper rates, but soon learned the experience at Cavallo was worth every extra dollar they charge.
Highly recommend Cavallo and will return.
