Glad that I picked this car rental. Everything went smoothly from getting shuttle from airport to picking up the car to dropping off the vehicle after. All staff were very friendly and efficient. My car - Hyundai I10 was great for the 5 of us and had no issues climbing the hills once you know how to use the low gears. Overall I would not hesitate to use their service again.

Arrived with a party of seven and had reserved a minivan months in advance. Sixt knew before we arrived the van they intended to rent to us was not returned to them in time for us to take. Rather than informing us ahead of time or making an effort to reserve a van from another rental they transported from the airport to their location. Essentially hoping to prevent us from finding another rental car company. Once there tried to convince us take two vehicles rather than one. They made no effort at that point to find another van on the island and only offered for us to walk down to the next rental company to check availability. We did find one available at which point Sixt did not even offer to transport us to the other rental company. Our family of seven, including an eight-year-old, had to roll our luggage down through a very busy street without sidewalks about a quarter of a mile to get to the other rental. Of course the other rental was more expensive which Sixt also made no effort to compensate.
18-Dec Sixt did reach out to offer some future compensation for this experience. As result I upgrade from 1 to 2 star. Most likely will not be that I can utilize this offer. However, they have made some effort and expressed desire to improve. Hopefully, prevent this experience for future customers.

I had an exceptional experience using Sixt Car Rentals for my stay in St.Maarten. Great customer service and hospitality from my pick-up at the airport to our return drop off at the airport. They even gave us a map (hard copy) to help us to get around if we encounter problems.
The rental car I selected was very economical and worked well to take my family and I around the island. I would have 100% recommend them if you need a car rental in St. Maarten

Awesome service!!! We rented the car for 4 days and it was smooth. Check in was easy and was out within 5 mins. Shuttle from airport is very convenient. David , Dominque , Anselmo, Davy all staff members are very professional and courteous. Always go with Sixt when in st Martin.
